Methodology

The methodology used in the classroom is based on three basic pillars:

Communicative approach

Language teaching is understood from the action. From this approach, the different skills are introduced and integrated, as well as the teaching of lexical, grammatical, and pragmatic content, using teaching approaches such as the cognitive approach.

The importance of the intercultural factor

The general competencies are transferred to the classroom through activities that encourage intercultural reflection, respect, and curiosity towards what is different. In the classes, we start from the student as the center of the whole teaching process, valuing not only their cultural particularities that enrich the contents but also attending to their needs and their own learning styles and strategies.

The integration of new technologies

Another factor that identifies UNEATLANTICO is the use of technology in the teaching and learning process. Spanish classes integrate all those possibilities that allow us to design meaningful activities that help students to communicate more effectively. From the teaching area, we are constantly reviewing the new proposals that are emerging in this area.
